Barbosa Studios is Open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST, Tuesday thru Saturday
(excluding major holidays) and by Appointment only.
Our design consultants will help you
determine your preferences for photography (such as a contemporary, modern, seductive, sweet,
romantic or the natural simple look). Based on your preferences, a design consultant will help you
prepare by offering useful tips on attire, hair, and makeup prior to your scheduled
appointment.
The Portrait Session
Our studio is designed to create your special theme using all four walls for maximum
flexibility. Barbosa can create virtually any lighting environment, including both
indoor and outdoor effects using our extensive photographic equipment, props and
techniques. On the day of your photo session your design consultant will help with
you achieve your desired look before your session begins, and will stay with you to assist
you and the photographer throughout the session.
Reviewing and Selecting Your Images
Typically within 3 business days, your color or black and white negatives will be ready
for viewing. At Barbosa Studios you can view your images along with a design
consultant on a 19' color monitor (rather than simply viewing images with a conventional
small proof photograph). This process enables you to much better visualize the
appropriate size for wall portraits. Next, you can select the frames and folios. We
offer custom frames and over 200 folios. Barbosa allows 2 hours for each review and
selection session. At Barbosa, our clients can relax and enjoy the entire
photographic process.
